TechTogether: Atlanta

Join us for a 2-day hackathon serving people of marginalized genders hosted by community leaders across Georgia. The event will take place April 22nd-23rd in the Klaus Advanced Computing Building at Georgia Tech.

Want to be part of the largest gender-inclusive Hackathon community?

Our mission is to open doors for ciswomen, transwomen, transmen, non-binary, agender and every other marginalized gender in the hackathon community. We want to create safe and inclusive spaces for you!

Venue & Transportation

This event will be in-person in the Klaus Advanced Computing Building at Georgia Tech.

Participants can start arriving at 10 am on April 22nd and the event will conclude at 3 pm on April 23rd. Participants will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the event.

Stop 1: Sign up for Azure for Students! Navigate to the link above and sign up for Azure for Students. Students, get Azure for free courtesy of Microsoft Azure. Full-time college students are eligible for a free Azure account with $100 in credits. Stop 2: Create a GitHub repository! Navigate to GitHub and create a GitHub Repository. Stop 3: Deploy a Service to Azure! Using your Azure for Students subscription, deploy any Azure service. It’s incredibly easy to get started, with Quickstart Templates and user guides on Microsoft Docs. You can deploy any code you have from your Github repo directly into Azure as well.

Best Financial Hack with Capital One

Capital One would like to challenge everyone this weekend to create the best financial hack. Each member of the winning team will be awarded $250 Amazon gift cards. Most Open-Minded Attendee

This challenge is for the attendee that attends the most events during the hackathon. Events include workshops, keynotes, career fairs, and fun activities. If it is on the TechTogether schedule, then it counts towards this challenge! The purpose of this challenge is to show our hackers that you don't need to build a project at a hackathon to participate and have fun. Each team member will receive a TechTogether bucket hat.

Ringleader's Apprentice

This prize is for teams with 2 or more first-time hackers. Each team member will receive a TechTogether bucket hat.

The Greatest Showstopper Hack

This prize is for the hack with the best design and UI/UX. Each team member will receive a TechTogether bucket hat.

Out of Box Hack

This prize is for the hack with the most unique idea and design. Each team member will receive a TechTogether water bottle.

The Ultimate Tumble

This prize is for the team who dreamed big and tumbled hard. Each team member will receive a TechTogether water bottle.

The Grand Finale

This prize is for the team with the best executed project of the event. Each team member will receive a TechTogether water bottle.
